I may not like wrestling but I LOVE a comeback story. I literally cried laughing hearing Jake “The Snake” Roberts tell road stories at Flappers in Burbank last night (also his birthday!). The way he beat his addictions, beat cancer and (with the help of @ddpyoga) got a new lease on life is immensely inspiring. As human beings, it’s amazing how much capacity we have to change our bodies, minds and lives. Jake is proof that you can ALWAYS turn your life around no matter how low you get. If you haven’t seen “The Resurrection of Jake The Snake” (which I rented as soon as I got home last night), you need to watch it! Jake, it was a pleasure meeting you and exchanging a few words. Nothing but continued health and success to you!
